One of the things that I love about being a photographer is that there are so many favourite moments and highlights to this profession. Every shoot is memorable for different reasons and each wedding comes with unique elements that set them apart from the next.
There was this one wedding last year that by far is my favorite. I travelled to beautiful Canmore, Alberta to be a part of this so called “fall” wedding, which was wonderfully transformed, the day before, into a winter wonderland….complete with -15 Celsius temperatures and a lovely chilly wind (perfect for outdoor pictures!). The setting was intimate and classy, with a peacock theme creatively woven through the day and the girls in beautiful long eggplant dresses.
Thinking back to this day and weekend, it all seemed absolutely perfect and exactly how I would want a wedding to be (without the chilly temperatures mind you).
I’m glad I feel this way because this was my/our wedding! It was on this beautiful wintery day that we were surrounded by close friends and family and that I married my most perfect man. He is the one I love deeply, love to go on adventures with and share life together, he challenges me to be all I can be and is a never ending blessing.
Falling more in love as each day passes,
Christine
