Christine Gogolinski’s contemporary photography style creates a fashion feel to everyday life. Her artistic eye and attention to detail result in natural “posed casual” images of individuals, families and groups. As you invite her to share your special moment or place, her warm smile and manner combined with her organizational and planning skills will readily make you feel at ease so you can focus on just being you, while she takes care of the rest!
Why is her photography Uncontained? Her diverse interests and abilities enable her to go beyond any one category of photography. Although Christine creates stunning portraits, she is not a typical portrait photographer. Having a natural eye for detail and an abundance of energy, she brings ideas and artistic concepts that will go beyond your expectations. She tends to use elements of urban life, the great outdoors, colour, texture and craftsmanship in background choices as a source of inspiration for her work. But her real inspiration is the challenge and joy of portraying the inner beauty of each person she photographs.
While photography has been a lifelong passion, Christine has been dedicated to furthering and expanding her skills through a variety of courses, workshops, mentoring opportunities and client sessions. She is honoured and privileged to have worked closely with 3-time Canadian Portrait Photographer of the Year, Robert Bray, MPA, and apprenticed under award-winning photographer, Don Hammond.
It is important to Christine that she takes time to give back to the community. She greatly enjoys contributing her time and talents in an effort to support various charities and organizations.
Uncontained Photography originated in Edmonton, Alberta and is currently based in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Christine still works within the Edmonton/Calgary area and is available to travel as required.
